Pescia incantevole a quei visitatori che intendono conoscere quella parte della Toscana forse meno nota ma non meno suggestiva.
Nel licenziare la nuova edizione della guida di Pescia, penso alle persone che abitano nella nostra cittconoscere il luogo in cui vivono; penso inoltre al visitatore straniero che varcando la Porta Fiorentina si appresta ad incontrare le significative testimonianze che hanno reso Pescia capoluogo storico della Valdinievole.

Pescia is a cultural heritage town boasting historic buildings and churches. The countryside immediately surrounding it is enchanting and offers various itineraries immersed in nature. It is ideal for visitors seeking a more out-of-the-way, but no less picturesque, corner of Tuscany.
As this new edition of the guide to Pescia goes to press, I feel certain it will prove to be a valuable resource for those of our townspeople who are still unaware of the beauty of the place they live in; it will also have much to offer foreign visitors who pass through made Pescia the most important town in the Valdinievole area.
